Zambia's North-western Province on Saturday called for Chinese investors to take part in a local expo the province will hold in August.
ChrIstopher Bwalya, coordinator of the North-west Expo, said a delegation from the North-western Province is taking part in the China-Africa Economic Trade Expo in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province.
The team at the Chinese expo is using the opportunity to network with the Chinese business community in finding ways of convincing them to equally attend the expo in Zambia.
He said in a release that the provincial team is using the expo in China to highlight the business opportunities in the province by highlighting the various investment opportunities in various sectors, such as agriculture, mining and manufacturing, among others.
According to him, the team is using various networking platforms at the expo in order to maximize the benefits that come with attending such events.
Zambia's Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Christopher Yaluma is leading the Zambian delegation at the expo, where 20 Zambia enterprises are exhibiting.
