The 9th China International Cultural Industries Fair will be held from May 17th to the 20th in Shenzhen. Its focus is on culture, creativity and technology.

Since 2004, the fair has served as both an expo to showcase the latest cultural products in China, and a trade fair to spur increased globalization. Over the years, the number of exhibitors at the fair has grown from 700 to nearly 2000, with turnover almost quadrupling.

This year's fair is also bringing in new fields, including creative design, new media, animation and intangible cultural heritages.
