2013 The Third China-Africa Industrial Forum Notification

Since the new century begins, the relationships between China and Africa have experienced a rapid growth. Both of the two sides have regarded each other’s progresses as important opportunities for self-development. In order to promote and deepen the strategic cooperation between China and Africa, and to minimize the impact brought by global financial crisis to Chinese and African enterprises, and to develop long-term China-Africa friendship, China Africa Industrial Forum (CAIF), obtained supports from the state and government, was established under the banner of China-Africa Forum. CAIF devotes itself to rapid and healthy China-Africa economic development and speeds up China-Africa exchanges and cooperation in the aspects of politics, economy, culture, science, technology, and tourism etc.

CAIF hosted the first and the second China-Africa Industrial Forum in Beijing National Convention Center, respectively, on November 21, 2009 and on November 28, 2011. The success of the two forums was highly appreciated by Chinese state leaders and African diplomatic envoys. Under the guidance of public policies toward Africa, CAIF, who is aiming to reach the goal of “mutual trust and benefit & cooperation and common development” actively responses the call the President Xi Jinping brought up—— “The development of China-Africa ties can only be in present continuous tense, and never in present perfect tense".
