Investment structure: 1/3 (university), 2/3 foreign investor

LOI: signed by the university on 23.7.13
Project operator: Israeli company which will be entitled for fixed fee for its performance.
Income of the diagnostic center: Diagnostics package price to the customer (healthy) should be double than its cost ($60 to $100).
This price will be paid to the diagnostic center by a unique Health Fund that will established to serve the residents of the Kisumu county and the 8 neighboring counties with approx. population of 10 million.
Income of the Cancer Treatment Center:
- Special insurance policies which will cover all needed cost of the treatment
- Family funds
- Bank loans
Income of the Health Fund:
Each County Government will charge a special monthly tax of $1 per each resident including children.
The assumption is that the amount collected monthly in all the counties should be at least $5 million.
This amount will be transferred by the counties Government every month to the Heath Fund.
The Health Fund will start paying the diagnostic center from the 7th month.
Which means, the Health Fund will create capital of at least $30 million before start to send customers to the diagnostic center and to pay the cost of the diagnostic packages ($120 to $200)
Share holder structure:
- 1/3 for the University (and/or the counties who will contribute some percentage of this investment)
- 2/3 for the foreign investor
The shareholders will hold Holding company which will holds 100% of the diagnostic center, 100% of the Cancer Treatment Center and 100% of the Health Fund.
