Dialogue between Secretary-general of China-Africa Industrial Forum Cheng Zhigang and Djibouti's Ambassador Ismail Ibrahim Houmed  to China

July 4, 2011, Secretary-General Cheng Zhigang of China Africa Industrial Forum had a friendly dialogue with Ambassador Ismail Ibrahim Houmed of Embassy of the Republic of Djibouti in China.  The dialogue is the deep talk with 24 th African envoys to China after dialogue with South Africa's ambassador to China. The dialogue speeds up the process of China Africa Industrial Forum to promote China-Africa development and adds new content for the upcoming deadline's book《Walk into Africa》- China-Africa New Opportunities of business.

Ambassador warmly received Secretary-General Cheng in his reception room and treated us with the cool tea that shows Djibouti people's hospitality.

Secretary-General: Thank Ambassador for reception. Please allow me make a brief introduction for China Africa Industrial Forum.

China Africa Industrial Forum is organization called as CAIF for short, which established in December 2008 under the guide of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council to promote economic and trade cooperation.

Under China Africa Industrial Forum, China-Africa Cooperation Net introduces African survey in Chinese, English and French in three languages to introduce the African profile, recent tendency, investment information and China-Africa trade, cultural cooperation and exchange's network platform.

CAIF is currently editing a book named as《Walk into Africa》- China-Africa New Opportunities of Business. This book's reader  is a number of Chinese enterprises for Africa to provide them to Africa's investment information and guide. This book has a chapter called as "Dialogue with African ambassador", which is my dialogue  with African diplomatic envoys to China. Exchange through face to face with African embassies in China, we strengthen contact with African embassies. At the same time, we also obtain the latest  investment information from all African countries. The above is important for the book《Walk into Africa》.

To this end, I thank Ambassador to give us chance to face to face exchange on Chinese enterprise investment in Djibouti.
