South Africa does business with the continent: in the 17 years since the end of apartheid, South Africa has become the largest investor into Africa. Our mining investments and expertise span practically the entire continent; our major banks have become a strong development factor on the continent; we are involved in the critical area of infrastructure development; and our largest retail chains have extended northwards.

South Africa is connected: the country has commercial air links with most major African cities and, in Durban, has the busiest port in Africa and the largest container port anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere. Our internal road system, covering 75 400 km, is good and our rail network is the largest in Africa.

Then，secretary-General and Ambassador Langa discussed some popular investment projects in South Africa etc. Ambassador expressed his welcome for Chinese enterprises invest in South Africa.
