Dialogue between Secretary-general of China-Africa Industrial Forum Cheng Zhigang and Sasara Chasala George, Botswana' s Ambassador to China

On March 30, 2011, Secretary-General Cheng Zhigang of China Africa Industrial Forum had in-depth talks with Ambassador Sasara Chasala George to China of embassy of Republic of Botswana in China. Talks started from   theme "2010 African Energy and Mineral Seminar", the book "Walk into Africa -- China-Africa New Opportunities of Business " and other related contents. First of all, ambassador expressed his welcome for arrival of the Secretary-General and also expressed his appreciation and support for China Africa Industrial Forum.

Ambassador: Welcome your arrival, as Botswana's Ambassador, I am pleased to introduce the investment environment of our country for you.

Secretary-General: Thank you for your invitation to the Embassy. I am pleased to visit embassy. China Africa Industrial Forum applies itself to China-Africa economic and trade exchanges and cultural exchange. We develop an annual strategic plan for trade investment in Africa and will organize Chinese enterprises for investigation and investment in African countries. Last November 30, we held the "2010 African Energy and Mineral Seminar". The meeting has been attached great importance to African countries.

Ambassador: Your organization is very good. Unfortunately , I did not attend your seminar. Botswana has rich natural resources such as diamonds, copper, nickel, coal, salt, soda ash, gold, manganese, cattle, wild animals, plants and other magnificent natural landscape. If the forum have any activities next time, you will be sure to invite us and our embassy will actively participate in the your activities.

Secretary-General: In the past few decades, Botswana made remarkable achievement in economic construction by its sound macroeconomic regulation and control, coherent policies, stable politics and good political governance. China Africa Industrial Forum has dozens of African experts and I hope we have the close connect and carry out concrete cooperation projects.
