Ambassador: For Botswana, the investment opportunities are everywhere, Botswana economy mainly depends on the mining industry, especially diamond mining-- accounting for one third of Botswana GNP. Secretary-General: We are now editing a book called "Walk into Africa -- China-Africa New Opportunities of Business" • Dialogue with 49 African envoys to China", which will include business and investment guide covering 49 African countries to establish diplomatic relations with China. Now we have completed 90% of the data collection work and I hope we can expand this high level of cooperation and promote exchanges between the two sides.

Ambassador: Your work is very commendable, Botswana has no foreign exchange control so capital can flow freely. It is a win-win idea to encourage enterprises to invest in Botswana. Construction and expansion of routes, traffic and other infrastructure improvement, agricultural machinery , mineral exploitation, tax deductions and exemptions provide many opportunities and benefits for Chinese enterprises to invest in Botswana.
