Burundi Welcomes Chinese Enterprises to Invest

Dialogue between Secretary-general of China-Africa Industrial Forum Cheng Zhigang and Pascal Gasunzu, Burundi's ambassador to China

 

On the morning of March 7, 2011 , Secretary-General Cheng Zhigang of China Africa Industrial Forum had a friendly talk with Burundi ambassador Pascal GASUNZU to China in Burundi Embassy in China. Mr. Ambassador and the first-class counselor  Mr. Adelin NIMUBONA warmly received Secretary-General Cheng Zhigangs visit.

 

First of all, Secretary-General Cheng Zhi-Gang expressed his sincere thanks for  Ambassadors warm reception. Meanwhile, Secretary-General Cheng gave a brief introduction for China Africa Industrial Forums aim and major activities. Secretary-General Cheng also explained the main purpose of this visit.


Secretary-General: from China Africa Industrial Forums foundation to now, the all forum activities have been supported from all China-Africa fields.  After 2009 first China-Africa Industrial Forum and 2010 African Energy and Mineral Seminar, we will publish a book which will introduce African countries named as "Walk into Africa -- China-Africa New Opportunities of Business ".

 

Ambassador: What are the contents of this book?

 

Secretary-General: This book mainly introduces 49 African countries which have established diplomatic ties with China Including the following aspects: First, African countries conditions and customs, natural resources and general situation of geography; Second, China's assistance and trade investment to Africa; In addition, African country's investment information is the focus of the book describes. For example, the distribution of national resources and the most popular investment industry, investment project and scarce commodity of African countries also including related policies and regulations introduction.


Ambassador: This is a very meaningful thing and you have a good starting point. I believe that the books publication not only make Chinese people knowledge Africa , but also make more people understand Burundi. Burundi embassy in China is willing to provide the necessary information for China Africa Industrial Forum. You mainly want to know which aspects?
