Ambassador: First of all, all investors want to do business in a safe environment. Today, after Burundis 5 years of war, it has been restored and has a peaceful environment. Society is harmonious and safe. Burundi is a very hospitable country and we welcome the foreigners come to our country to invest and do business. It not only contribute to our post-war reconstruction work,  but also the more conducive to our friendly relations with other countries . We all know that today's China was very powerful and China and Burundis relationship are very friendly, so we particularly welcome Chinese enterprises to invest in Burundi.

Secondly, the new investment law in Burundi  provide more safeguards for investor.  Foreign investors or domestic investors are treated equally in Burundi . Burundi also has established an investment promotion agency for the promoting of domestic and foreign investments activities carried out smoothly. Similarly, the transfer of funds has also provided a guarantee.

In addition, because Burundi is in the post-war recovery and reconstruction phase, so in many areas there are opportunities. The Government of Burundi encourages investment and attaches great importance to the cooperation similar with China.

Ambassador: In general,  all investors establishing new enterprises in Burundi, whether its purpose is to expand the business scale and reform business on the basic of the original, you can enjoy the many benefits and so on.

Secretary-General: which is the recommended areas for Chinese investors in Burundi?

Ambassador: As the post-war reconstruction in Burundi, so in many areas have investment opportunities. Investment priorities recommended for Chinese investors are: agriculture, animal husbandry, mining, food industry, textiles and leather; In addition, the energy field has many investment opportunities.Potential investment industry includes large untapped water networks, such as hydropower,and solar and wind energy development; Other areas include: jewelry, machinery, electronics, pharmaceutical products and medical devices, artificial fertilizers, infrastructure and construction; in addition it also includes he service industry, trade, traditional import and export, transport, information technology and communications that  are worth investing.

Burundi's tourism industry is also worth mentioning that, as Burundi is located in the heart of Africa-the Great Lakes region in Africa, so Burundi is an important tourist destination for travelers.
